Rogers Pass BC Ski - 02/14-18/09

Matt, Emily, and I headed up to British Columbia to ski for 5 days at Rogers Pass. Being a big backcountry skier, I have heard of the legendary Rogers Pass, but have never been there. I was super psyched when they invited me to join them this year. The access is excellent, starting up very high, and the terrain is huge and perfect for ski touring. Not to mention the Selkirk creamy snow.

Day 1: We went skiing below Mount Sir Donald on the Vaux Moraines. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2009/rogerspass-02_14_09/

Day 2: We did a huge traverse over Little Sifton. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2009/rogerspass-02_15_09/

Day 3: We had a mellow day up at Balu Pass. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2009/rogerspass-02_16_09/

Day 4: We set out for our biggest day and did the Young's Peak Traverse. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2009/rogerspass-02_17_09/

Day 5: Another mellow day before our drive home at the NRC Gullies. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2009/rogerspass-02_18_09/
