Rogers Pass BC Ski - 02/17-21/10

Matt, Tim, Kevin and I went up north to Rogers Pass for more of the legendary creamy powder. It was a year ago that I first went up to Rogers Pass and instantly became addicted. So when the chance came to go again, I had to jump on it. We had blue bird days ahead, however the snowpack was very twitchy so we had to stay off steep slopes. Once we learned what we can and can not do, excellent times were had even throughout all of the DH's, micro managing, and patriotic canadians, and figure dancing.

Day 1: We completed the Little Sifton Traverse, up the Grizzly Shoulder and down the Hermit Valley. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2010/rogerspass-02_18_10/

Day 2: We completed the Dome Traverse, up Loop Brook and the Lilly Glacier and down the Dome Glacier to the Asulkan Valley. Pictures can be found at http://alpinenapping.com/main.php/v/mountains/2010/rogerspass-02_19_10/

Day 3: We all made it up to the Illecillewaet Glacier, however the rest of the gang went up to a col between Mount Sir Donald and Terminal Peak, while I explored the area, took a few laps below Pearly Rock, and hung out with a local and a guy from Vermont. Moonlight Bowl BC Ski - 02/11/10
