Rampart Lakes BC Ski - 01/31/09

Matt, John, and I ventured up Gold Creek to get a glimpse of Alta Mountain. We decided on Rampart Lakes and had to skin up some pretty steep forest. Once at the lakes, we found sketchy avy conditions and as well as high sustained winds and very cold temperatures. We checked out the lakes for a little bit, but soon headed back down to the car. Seattle Bike Loop - 01/19/09

Went on a nice bike ride around Ballard, Magnolia, Elliot Bay, Wallingford, and Greenlake. No pictures were taken.

Eightmile Mountain BC Ski - 01/17/09

Jim, Matt, John, and I walked the road and ventured up Eightmile Mountain. After a long slog like this, I often state how I will never walk the road again, but here I was again, walking up the road. Like always, it was definitely worth it and the views of Mount Stuart were amazing. The temperature inversion was really crazy. Kendall Mountain BC Ski - 01/10/09

Matt, John, and I headed up Kendall Mountain in search of some good turns. We found some good powder, although there was not a lot of it and it was covering snow runnels. Arrowhead Mountain BC Ski - 01/04/09

Jim, Ben, and I ventured out into the deep, deep Northwest powder and went skiing off the summit of Arrowhead Mountain. We found excellent powder in very stable conditions. Lake Sutherland NYE - 12/30/08-01/01/09

Jim, Yaniv, and I joined others to Lake Sutherland on the Olympic Peninsula for a three day New Years bash. Hot tubs, all night sing-a-longs, game room, excellent meals, eye of the tiger jam sessions all lead to such an amazing time. Pictures can be found at
