Table Mountain - 10/04/09

Katie and I spent the day up at Table Mountain. We originally were going to do the Chain Lakes Loop, but arriving at the lower parking lot we discovered lots of fresh snow and the road to Artist Point was closed. After hiking up to Artist Point and attempting to traverse below Table Mountain, we abandoned those plans and hiked up to the top of Table Mountain. After that, we spent the rest of the day eating hundreds of blueberries and taking pictures of the lakes below Table Mountain. We then stopped at the ever so popular Reflection Lake to take the most photographed picture in the world of Mount Shuksan. There were many intense photographers there jockeying for elbow room. It was very serious and we decided not to stay for sunset due to the strong winds which was destroying the great reflection.
